zRescue is an iOS photo recovery app that focuses on Recovery Mode, Vault Recovery, file-size optimization, and photo restoration. It keeps media on device and saves restored or optimized copies to Photos.

zRescue runs on iOS and iPadOS. You need Photos access to select and save media.

Recovery Mode guides a 3-step flow: Preparing → Ready → Start. In the current release, Start Recovery opens Vault Recovery so you can restore deleted Vault items.

Today, Recovery Mode restores items deleted inside Vault via Vault Recovery. Full Photo Library scanning is not active yet.

Not yet. The current version does not scan the full Photos library; it restores items deleted from Vault only.

Restore uses the PhotoHQ CoreML model on device to enhance photo detail. If the model is unavailable, the app shows an error instead of uploading your photo.

No. zRescue saves a new enhanced copy to Photos and keeps the original unchanged.

Optimize works with photos and videos from your library. The result is saved as a new file in Photos.

Core recovery, Vault, Optimize, and Restore run on device. An internet connection is only needed for app downloads and updates.

Vault Recovery is typically immediate because it reads deleted Vault items locally. Time can vary with the number of items.

Yes. Vault Recovery shows previews so you can choose what to restore or delete.

Yes. zRescue keeps media on device and does not upload your photos. Review the Privacy Policy for details.

Subscriptions are managed through the App Store. Open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions to change or cancel your plan.

Confirm the items were deleted from Vault. If they weren't in Vault, the current Recovery Mode cannot recover them.

Vault and Recovery files are stored in Documents/vault and Documents/recovery. Optimize outputs are stored in Caches/optimize.

High fidelity preserves quality, Balanced offers a middle ground, and Compact gives the smallest size.

No. Recovery depends on Vault data in the current version. Full library recovery is not active yet.

No. Optimize creates a new file and leaves the original untouched.

Restore shows an error and stops. The app does not upload your photo to the cloud.

Check Photos permissions, available storage, and try another file. If the issue continues, contact Support.

No. PhotoHQ runs on device via CoreML, so photos stay local.

Recover starts Recovery Mode, Vault stores private media with a PIN, Optimize reduces file size, Restore enhances detail with PhotoHQ, and Settings manages privacy links, PIN changes, and resets.
